Equine Assisted Learning & Growth Programs
At Silver Sage Ranch School, our Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program offers a unique, hands-on experience where participants of all ages engage with horses and farm animals to develop life skills, emotional awareness, and personal confidence.
Grounded in principles of experiential learning, our EAL sessions use horse and animal interaction as the foundation for building communication, leadership, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Unlike riding lessons, all activities take place on the ground, making the program accessible and impactful for individuals and groups with varying abilities, backgrounds, and goals.
Horses as Partners in Learning
Horses are powerful teachers—sensitive, intuitive, and deeply responsive to human energy. Through structured activities with our horses, participants learn to:
- Build trust and self-awareness
- Improve emotional regulation and decision-making
- Develop clear, respectful communication
- Strengthen leadership, collaboration, and goal-setting skills
